P2 Cunningham Crunch Munch Day

10th Oct 2017

We had a fun afternoon celebrating Crunch Munch Day and what a range of fruit and vegetables (and funny tasting faces) we had!

Luke brought in some juicy pears. Ruairi and Alannah enjoyed the pears also.

Malachy and Michael brought some passion fruit and corn to try.

Cuan tried a tomato. Clara had some sweet corn. Amelia's favourite was the sweet corn she tried.

Dylan B was very happy tasting his strawberry. Charlie also loves strawberries!

Sarah gave a melon the thumbs up! Daniel had some lovely pomegranate seeds which were a huge hit.

It was a big YES for watermelon, tasted by Eva, Milo and Antonio, Orla and Patrick.

Niamh will now be having celery for lunch after today's tasting session.

Robyn loved her sweet blueberries. Agnia thought the blueberry was juicy, sweet and very yummy.

Emma had some avocado. We thought it tasted a little different to how we expected.

Erin's dragonfruit went down a treat with lots of the boys and girls keen to try a little, including Jake.

Ellie May decided her favourite fruit to eat is definitely a banana.

Eve brought in some butternut squash. Butternut squash is Miss Cunningham's favourite soup ingredient.

Mollie Rose, George and Dylan Mc tasted some carrot. They decided they will not be having carrots for dinner any time soon.

Well done to all the boys and girls for tasting today.

We think mums and dads may have some new fruit and vegetables to add to their shopping lists.
