Yr7G:Martha Reynolds' Drawing and Aoife's Poem
Have a look Martha's beautiful drawing of a blue tit. Maybe she saw this in her garden?
It is absolutely beautiful. What a talented girl you are, Aoife.
Also have a read of Aoife Mc A's poem "Isolation". It really captures the mood of the moment.
Isolation by Aoife
A once lively, bustling city
A once busy , noisy street
Now seems almost deserted
The only noise, a lone worker's feet
At home, they peer out the window
Put up rainbows in support
But the tense atmosphere stays
We must hope, even more
The daily press briefing and home meeting take place on screen
A 2-metre greeting, no swimming on evenings and PE lessons on a T.V
The world has been changing
School on an app, we are trying to be clever
But we can face it,
See it through,
This won't last.
