Yr1M Autumn Walk Inspires Art Work
7th Oct 2021
On Wednesday we went on an Autumn walk to spot some of the signs of Autumn. We walked around the school and looked up at the big trees and could the leaves were changing colours. We could see brown, yellow, orange, and green leaves. We went into the school garden to find leaves we could take back to the classroom to draw. There were many different types of leaves , big and small, spikey, and smooth, wet, and crispy. We looked closely at the leaves and could spot lots of different colours! Mrs Merron took pictures of the leaves we found; it was very exciting! She then tried to take a group picture but it was a little sunny so she took a few hoping that there would be at least one with us looking!!! 🙂 After lunch we got the leaves and studied them closely to see the different shapes and colours on them. We put on some nice music and had an art lesson. Mrs Merron was very impressed with all the details we captured in our drawings!
