Yr 5 Fee Assembly: This Is What School Is All About
Year 5 Fee's assembly today was inspiring. The assembly was about "Dreaming Big". The children all talked about what they aspired to be in the future. I wanted to be a vet or a doctor, Charlotte wanted to be a professional dancer with Isobel, Callum wanted to be an astronomer and Prabsimar wanted to be an astronaut. We talked about inspirational people in life. We talked about Nelson Mandela and Walt Disney and Michael Jordan and Michele Obama. The message for us all was that they never gave up on their dream. We sang two songs. The first was written by Mr Fee himself and the second one was called A Million Dreams by Pink. I just loved doing the assembly! Have a look at the photos and listen to our songs. Mr Fee accompanied us. He is using his talents well.
We Thank God for the Gifts By Mr Fee
We thank God for the Gifts
We thank God for the Gifts, that have brought us here today
Let his love shine down on us
We have all that we need to help us on our way
Now his love shines down on us
Every night before bed, when I say my prayers,
I know God is listening, I know God is there
I’m thankful for my family, I am thankful for my friends
I’m thankful in God’s love, his beginning with no end.
I am thankful for my talents, for all the things that I can do
Because his love shines down on us
I have goals, I can dream – and to my dreams I will be true
Now his love shines down on us
Every night before bed, when I say my prayers,
I know God is listening, I know God is there
I am thankful for my family, I am thankful for my friends
I am thankful in God’s love, his beginning with no end.
We thank God for the Gifts, that have brought us here today
Let his love shine down on us
We have all that we need to help us on our way
Now his love shines down on us
