Year 7 Graham Design Rainforest Clay Animals
In class we have been making Rainforest clay animals. First we watched a YouTube video on making a simple clay rhino which gave us all an idea on how to make our animals.
We all chose our clay animals (mine was a crocodile) and moulded the body shape with our hands and carved in detail into our animals to make them look realistic. Then using the method called slip we stuck on our other body features such as tails, legs and trunks.
When we were all done we left our clay animals to dry for about two days and then we painted them. Once they were dry they were covered over with PVA glue and stuck on any other body parts that fell off, and then we were done!
