Year 6 McMahon Viking Music
26th Jan 2016
We went into groups and made a sound grid on the Vikings. We performed our sound version of a ‘Viking raid’.
Finan’s role was to create the swords using the rhyme sticks, Ted and Naoise used octichimes creating the sound of the arrows, Pearse used a tambourine and Diarmuid created a storm using the storm maker for the fire. James used the maracas for falling buildings. Rory used a rain maker for the heads rolling. We all used our own voices to roar as the Vikings did. It was really fun! We think every year group should do something like this.
