Year 5 Make Christmas Puddings Out of Clay
First of all we got out the clay and then we separated it into smaller lumps. We had lumps for the leaves, the berries and the pudding. The pudding piece was the biggest. We rolled the pudding piece into a ball and then, with our thumbs we moulded it into a hollow dome shape. Next we got the smaller blobs and made leaves. We made a circle and then pinched the sides. We did this twice. We used a slip and score technique. Then we put the leaves on top of the pudding. We used the slip and score technique again to put the berries on. We are going to paint them next week. In our literacy we are going to write a procedure on how to make clay puddings. By Isobel P5Fee
