P5K have been really busy this week, participating in lots of fun maths activities as part of Maths Week Ireland. We have been reading all Mr Dornan’s maths clues daily in our exciting maths challenge and can’t wait to see who the winners are! Did you know Miss Joyce likes to make potions? We’ll never look at her the same again! We have been visiting the Mangahigh website and playing cool games. We even got to do this for homework, wow! We spent Monday afternoon investigating 3D shapes. On Tuesday and Wednesday we completed a Maths Trail designed by our very own P7 children, it was fantastic! Way to go Mrs McKenna! On Thursday we completed a few very tricky investigations where we had to produce tables to record out data. Phew! What a week and we’ve still got tomorrow to go. I hear there are even more maths games to be played, bring it on!!
