For our first assembly of this year, we decided to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The theme this year was learning with Pope Francis to care for our common world. We had a beautiful sacred space for the focus of our assembly. We told the creation story, recited lovely poems to St. Brigid and our grandparents, we said prayers thanking God for all we have and we finished with a song to Brigid. Mrs Kennedy was delighted with all of us.
