Year 4 Mc Ilroy History of Our School
25th Oct 2019
P.4McI went on a ‘History Tour’ of our school. We saw the original corner stone from 1902, visited the Caretaker's old house, walked over to the Parish Hall where the school once stood and saw some fabulous photos on the walls of the Ashleigh building. We then returned to our mobile and learnt that where it stands was once an orchard filled with apples which the children were allowed to pick if they forgot their break.
It was a lovely walk on a crisp Autumnal day and we discover some fun facts about St.Bride’s.
