Miraculously the sun shone and the grounds of our beautiful church looked wonderful.
Fr O’Donnell , in his homily, reminded the children that the day was all about love. He said that Jesus would always love them. He asked the children to pray especially for those gathered who love them so much. He praised the pupils for their great responses and commented on how well they all looked.
Afterwards there was a great buzz under the wooden canopy. It was wonderful to see the pupils supported by so many parents and grandparents. The pupils were thrilled with their party bags from the PTA.
Thank you to Mrs Mc Ilroy and Mrs Mallon. The pupils were so well prepared. Thank you to Mrs Toal for the music, to Fr O’Donnell for the lovely mass and to those who prepared the flowers for the altar. They were stunning. Thank you also to Mr Anthony Quinn who prepared the party bags.
We hope everyone enjoyed this special parish occasion.
