Miss Stewart found a novel way to reinforce speech marks with Mrs Mc. Namee's class.
Each group was given different sentences from their reading books and they had to pretend that the pasta was the punctuation marks!
They had to decide which words were the actual spoken words and then use the pasta to correctly punctuate the sentences.
They had great fun! When Miss Stewart circulated amongst the groups she could see that the pupils in Year 3 Mc. Namee had a good grasp of this difficult concept.
