This week in music we were exploring ways to make sounds.
In our groups we ‘drew’ a sound story using a symbol for each type of weather. We used claves, maracas, tambourines, drums, symbols and bells to represent the different types of weather you would hear on a rainy day.
We all had to decide together as a group which sound was best for the light rain, heavy rain, the sun coming out and maybe even a crash of thunder!
We had great fun doing this and then standing in front of the class to perform our sound story.
We were so good we are going to make up more sound stories during Activity Based Learning.
