We have been so busy this month during our Activity Based Learning sessions!
Take a look at all the things we have been learning about and having fun exploring.
We have been cutting and sticking rhyming words and then using magnetic letters to create our own rhyming words with a partner.
We have been programming Bee Bots to move in certain directions across the floor. Sometimes we forget to press the clear button and our Bee Bots went the wrong way but we have improved over the month. Now we are able to plan a journey on our white boards and then programme the Bee Bots to move across a map from one place to the next.
For our Valentine cards we used the pointillist technique on our cards because we were looking at paintings by George Seurat. We also during ABL pretended to go Valentine shopping for gifts for our family but to make things tricky we had to set out the coins 3 different ways to pay for our gifts!
During construction we made more Valentines gifts, some of us had a go at making flowers, teddies and even a really big box of chocolates with lots of tasty chocolates inside!
We can’t wait to see all the fun things we will be doing next month!
