Today in class the Year 7 pupils worked on the first task from the Trocaire pack. It was entitled This is Our land. They had to explore the concept of land and visually represent its connection to their lives ! Wow! They read a poem about land and then worked together in groups to discuss words such as future, heritage , history, hope, etc. which had been assigned to them. They worked well in groups. Each group then fed back to the class. It was a challenging but enjoyable task.
