This week Mrs Wilson set her class a reading challenge which some children have had great fun participating in. Mary and Katie have read their novel in the dark with only a flashlight. Mary, Ella and Katie read while dressed up as characters from their book, Mary dressed up as Sophie from ‘The BFG,’ Ella dressed up as a dragon from ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and Katie dressed up as a unicorn while reading ‘The Naughtiest Unicorn.’ Katie also made a fort and read her novel inside it. Keep up all of that reading, girls!
P4 Wilson have also been enjoying our minibeast topic. Dermot made a 3D model of an ant, while Ahmad made a 3D model of a spider. Ella was very artistic this week and designed a mismatched minibeast. The head was from a tarantula, the middle was from a ladybird and the bottom was from a bee. Great creativity everyone! Patrick even managed to find a huge spider on his Liverpool shorts, which had laid eggs, put a web over them and was lying on them to protect them.
It was also Azra’s birthday this week and she seemed to have a lovely day with lots of treats and presents. Happy birthday, Azra!
Patrick has been looking forward to celebrating the end of term. He used a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 diagram to plan his dream end of year party. He chose 5 different types of food, 4 songs, 3 games, 2 types of party clothing and 1 venue. Looks like lots of fun Patrick.
