The Three Little Pigs by Juliette Year 3GH
The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time there were three little pigs and a mummy pig. They lived in a town. One-day mummy pig decided they were too old to live with her anymore. She was sad to let them. ‘Beware the big bad wolf,’ said mummy pig. First mummy pig gave them bags with snacks for the journey. When they had all their stuff, they said goodbye and went.
Next they set to work. The first pig built a house of straw but he didn’t think of the bad wolf. The second pig built a house of sticks but he didn’t think of the big bad wolf either. The third clever pig who was thinking about the big bad wolf built a house of bricks.
After that the first pig was sitting down reading a book. When he heard the wolf say, ‘Little pig, little pig, let me come in.’ He jumped up and said, ‘Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin,’ he replied. The wolf huffed and puffed and he blew the house down. Then the first pig ran to the second pig’s house.
As soon as he got to the stick house, he ran in and slammed the door behind him. The wolf said, ‘Little pig, little pig, let me in!’ ‘Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.’’
“Then I’ll blow your house down.’ He huffed and puffed and he blew the house down. They both raced to the brick house.
Afterwards the third pig was making stew on the cooker. ‘I’m fed up, let me in’.
‘No’.
‘If you won’t let me in, I’ll blow your house down.’ The wolf huffed and puffed but he couldn’t do it.
Finally, the wolf had an idea. He climbed up the chimney, went down it and splash he fell right into the stew. Then he ran outside and tripped over a stone and fell right in the duck pond. The three pigs lived happily ever after and made more stew and tidied up.
