The New Premier League Season
So many new players in new colourful kits,
And new managers picking match day squad.
Not many changes in Manchester
Because only four signings! Between the two rival clubs!
New teams promoted like
Wolves, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace.
But also teams relegated like
Swansea City, Stoke City and West Bromwich.
The loud cheers when the ball hits the back of the net
And the sounds of the ball smashing loudly off the woodwork.
The new Spurs brilliant stadium
And the smell of the freshly cut grass.
You could almost smell the sweaty bodies on the pitch
And the mixed emotion of the loud fans.
The white ball though will slowly turn to the interesting yellow ball in the winter.
The new season is like a brand new life.
And the players doing funny and weird celebrations.
And the players shouting bulls “Pass!” “Shoot!” and “Behind you!”
