A big thank you to all at The Doyen especially Philip for their kind invitation to perform at the turning on of their Christmas tree lights.
The members of the choir and the brass ensemble were treated to a delicious supper before they performed on stage. The brass ensemble played three pieces and the choir sang a medley of Christmas carols and songs. The pupils also helped in the countdown for the switching on of the lights.
The Doyen kindly gave all Christmas hats and a selection box. What a treat! It was great to see a lot of parents and pupils in the audience supporting the school. Mrs Quinn was very proud of everyone.
Thanks to Mrs Toal who organised the event at the school end and who accompanied the children on the keyboard. Thank you to the parents who supervised the children. What a lovely start to the Christmas festivities and a great opportunity for the children to perform in public. The singing was magical 🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄.
