St. Brigid's Third World Group Receives Cheque

Mrs Rosalie Flanagan from St. Brigid's Third World Group received a cheque for £1515.95 at Year 7 Doran Assembly. The money was collected by the pupils of St. Bride's through various fund raising events including the recent 'Dress in red/pink for Valentine's Day' non-uniform day. Mrs Flannagan was delighted with the money and thanked all the pupils for their hard effort. She said that the money would go towards building three wells in Malawi that could provide clean drinking water for up to 600 people.
