SHARE Centre
Hermionie and Ella from Mrs Kennedy's class had this to say about the SHARE Centre:
On Monday 15th June P7 K and P7 D arrived at school ready to start their journey to the Share Centre. We travelled by bus and it took just under 2 hours. When we arrived, we all gathered in the common room, where we were introduced to “Shooter” our wonderful leader. First, she took us on a tour round the building, and then we settled down in our chalets and got ready for lunch. We were all very excited. After lunch, we got ready for our first activity at the Share Centre. The four activities that we experienced over the 3 days were sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and banana boating. It is fair to say that banana boating was the best! On Monday evening, group A and B did t-shirt printing whilst group C and D played fuzzball. Soon after we swapped around. In the end the two best teams played against the teachers. The teachers won in the end (of course). On the Tuesday evening, all the groups took turns going swimming and orienteering. On the last day everyone was very upset to be leaving but we all knew that it couldn’t last forever and were grateful for having such a great time.
