School Choir Visits Redland Nursing Home
Mrs Toal and members of the school choir spent a lovely morning singing carols and playing Christmas music with the residents and staff of Redlands Nursing Home. Despite the cold morning the children were in great spirits as they set out on the short walk to Redlands.
The choir performed beautifully and the instrumental accompaniment was superb. The Christmas story was told in song and music and when the children sang O Holy Night there was hardly a dry eye in the house.
The concert finished off with a rousing sing-a long as the children came down to sit among the audience. Jingle bells were distributed to everyone and we all sang along to the old favourites including, Rudolph, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and of course Jingle Bells.
A huge thank you to the residents and staff of Redlands for the warm welcome and the privilege and pleasure of your company this Christmas.
