Problem Solving In P2 O'Prey
10th Nov 2017
On Friday the children investigated making numbers. First they worked in pairs to put spots on a butterfly’s wings. Sarah A and Mustafa discovered 4 and 4 make 8. Kai and Colleen knew 2 and 3 make 5. Next the children went outside. This time they worked in groups of 3 to find what 3 groups go together to make a number. They used chalk to record their answers. Hannah, Alvin and Emma discovered 4 and 2 and 1 make 7. P2 O’Prey love outdoor learning! Do you know what 3 numbers combine to make 11 or even 12? Can you write it with chalk?
