This month we have been using a big teaching clock to help us tell the time. We have been learning that when the long hand points to the number 12 that it is always o’clock and the short hand points to the hour.
In class we have been looking at our real clock and we know that we:
- come into class at 9 o’clock
- finish our Literacy Tasks at 10 o’clock
- are on the mat at 11 o’clock
- go for dinner at 12 o’clock
- go home at 2 o’clock
At home you could look at your clock at home and find out what you are doing at 4 o’clock, 5 o’clock etc.
