In class we have been listening to stories by Oliver Jeffers. He was born in Belfast but now lives in New York in America.
He has written lots of really good books and some of us have already heard some of them.
In class we have been having a go at writing a ‘retell’ of fairy tales with Mrs McNamee and our friends but now it’s our turn to have a go at our very first ‘retell’ all on our own!
We picked one of the books called ‘Lost and Found’ and using a HUGE word grid on our class whiteboard to help us we worked really hard to be an author and remember the order everything happened in.
We even got to watch the movie ‘Lost and Found’ in class!
