This week we have been looking at paintings by the French artist Paul Cézanne.
We looked at different paintings on our interactive whiteboard that he painted of fruit and then we all chatted about the colours he used and the black lines he drew around all the fruit.
We never use black lines when we usually draw and paint in school but today we were pretending to be Cézanne. We looked carefully at the plates of fruit in the middle of our table and drew our fruit with a pencil first before using oil pastels to add the colour and the outline. We think they look great, what do you think?
