We now know our initial letter names and sounds so well in P1. During literacy this week, we have been having a go at creating our very own phonic alphabets!!! They are fabulous. We were trying to make them all different. Some of us thought of very interesting things to draw, we have ‘Gruffalo’ and ‘garden’ for the ‘g’ sound, and ‘tooth’ and ‘television’ for the ‘t’ sound plus lots more interesting objects.
