Perfect Timing in P2 O'Prey
The snow came at just the right time for Mrs O'Prey's class. The children have been learning about writing procedures. This week they talked about : "How to build a snowman." So when the snow came on Wednesday they got to work. Due to the minimal snowfall they built a mini-snowman. We collected the things we needed: snow, sticks, stones and a scarf, hat and of course a carrot for the nose. Mrs O'Prey made a two balls of snow, one small and one big. Sarah R put the small ball of snow on top of the large ball of snow to make the head. Andy added the sticks for arms. Isabella used 3 large stones to make buttons and 2 for eyes and 1 for a mouth. Meara held the snowman's head while Colleen added the carrot for the nose. Oliver put on his hat. Joseph dressed him in his scarf! Wow look at our mini-snowman. Stay tuned to find out about how we did writing our procedure...
