P2 Mc Dermott have had some very exciting visitors into the classroom for our topic on People Who Help Us. Our first visitor was Dr Morgan, Lucy’s mum, who came in to talk to us about her role as a doctor. We learnt so much and enjoyed dressing up as doctors and surgeons. We learnt what a stethoscope is used for and how to wrap bandages!
Our next visitor was Mr McLaughlin, Catherine’s dad, who came in to talk to us about his role as a barrister. Mr McLaughlin showed us his wig and gown. We thought he looked really funny when he put them on for us! He told us lots of interesting facts about his job and his role in helping people.
