P7 Montague Interview with A V Browne
By James , P7 Montague
On Wednesday 5th April, Miss Montague’s class had an interview with AV Browne. They are creating an animation for the BBC about transition from primary to secondary school and they want to use our voices! We were split into groups of four and three and were sent down to the Red Room in our groups. In my group there was Hannah, Eva and Lochlain.
There were three men waiting for us in the room. The two people who were interviewing us were called Michael and Stephen. The man who was recording the sound was called Simon.
Michael and Stephen asked us what school we were going to. While we answered the questions, Simon held the microphone over us to record our voices. Some of the recordings will be put into their animation.
Next we were told words about the grammar schools and we had to say what we thought they were. Some of the words were one-way system, home economics, chemistry and after-school activities. We answered the questions as well as we could as none of us wanted to make a mistake in the animation!
We all really enjoyed answering the questions and can’t wait until the BBC finishes the animation!
