In class this week, we created some pieces of art inspired by the fantastic book 'The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse' by Charlie Mackesy. We read the book together in class, discussing the beautiful quotes, drawings and images. We chose our favourites, why they had such an impact and who we would recommend the book to. We then watched the new animated short of the story and created some beautiful images based on the story. The children were given the freedom to use any materials in their piece. Some used pen, watercolours, pencil, markers and some wanted no colour. What a talented bunch!
