Mr McAuley’s class recently created replicas of Viking artefacts using clay. They used the ‘slip’ and ‘score’ technique to ensure their pieces of clay could stick together. They then left them to dry and when dry painted them. They decided that instead of going for a natural colour for the Viking artefacts, that they would have fun with them and make them more unique by choosing their own colours.
