Today we had our class assembly. It was about Anti-Bullying. We looked at 3 different definitions of bullying in class during the week and understood how you can stop bullying. We then practised our assembly. We all had parts. It was based on the programme "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?". The host was Darragh and I was the contestant. He asked questions like:
Why does bullying happen ?
Who could solve bullying?
What do you feel like when you get bullied?
Whose fault is it when a person gets bullied?
The theme this year is RESECT and the last question I asked Darragh was , " What was this the theme of this year's anti- bullying campaign? The whole assembly shouted out RESPECT! We loved doing our class assembly! Mrs Quinn reminded us about St. Bride's Anti- Bullying Code and By- Stander Codes. She told us of some real life scenarios about boys and girls in our school. Mrs Quinn encouraged us to always tell and adult because then you can get help. By Clionagh
