P5F recently went to visit the Northern Ireland Water Treatment Plant in Duncrue Industrial Estate in Belfast. We learned all about how waste water is cleaned and filtered through lots of different processes which means it can be made safe and reused again and again. We learned about how important it is to look after our water and conserve it where we can. Water is a valuable resource and in this part of the world we are lucky to have a constant supply. In other parts of the world people have very little and clean water can be very hard to find. So look after the environment and try to save water where you can!
