Today we had great fun in our "Victorian" kitchen. We used carpet beaters to clean the carpets. We washed clothes in the metal wash tub and used the "dolly" and the washboard to help us make them really clean. We then pegged the clothes on the clothes horse using old fashioned wooden pegs. The boys had good fun chatting on the Victorian phone. We got to wear Victorian pinnies and the boys had waist coats and flat caps. We are going to Cultra to see old houses next week. We can't wait!
