On Tuesday P2 O'Prey celebrated their Prayer Service in the classroom. Lots of Mummies and Daddies and grandparents came along. First Mrs O'Prey welcomed everyone and the children sang "See the Light". They sang beautifully. Miss Grace lit the candle. Next Jayant, Dan, Bilal and Sarnjay shared stories about their families. They displayed their paintings. Then the children said a poem called "Stories". After that eight children said a prayer. The prayers were about Jesus. Following that some children read the story about when Jesus fed 5000 people with two loaves and five fish. Next some children said a poem about the miracle when Jesus calmed the storm. Then the children sang "Jesus was a miracle man." Finally everyone joined in with a prayer and Mrs O'Prey thanked the adults for coming. Everyone enjoyed the prayer service. The children were proud and the parents were pleased.
