P1 Wynne Trip to Streamvale Farm
On Friday 18th June, P1 Wynne got to go on a fabulous trip to visit Streamvale Farm.
We were even counting down the sleeps all week we were so excited.
After our exciting bus journey, we arrived at Streamvale Farm. We were met at the entrance by Judith and Jackie. Judith owns Streamvale and she was delighted to see the children from St Bride's visiting Streamvale Farm. Jackie was our tour guide for the day and she was brilliant!
First we got on a big trailer and the tractor took us to the top of the hill to feed the deer. Then we went to ‘Pets Corner’ where we saw horse, cows, goats, rabbits & piglets. We got to see and pet chicks and bunny rabbits. After our snack we visited the alpacas and the sheep.
Then we all got the chance to help feed a baby lamb!
We all got to try our milking skills on Buttercup, the model cow. Jackie said we were great and could all be farmers! Then we went to visit the milking parlour.
We also fed the chickens and the turkey and got to see the pigs in Piggy Palace.
Finally we had our lunch and afterwards we got a very special treat of ice-cream, made from the farms very own milk ðŸ¦ðŸ„
What a busy and exciting day!!
The children were super & Miss Wynne was so so proud 🥰
Thank you so much to everyone at Streamvale for looking after us so well. We can't wait to go back already!
