In literacy, we have being doing a recount of our music lesson from Thursday. We have been drawing the right pictures.
We had our music lesson on Thursday.
It happened in our classroom.
Miss Wynne, Miss Osborne and all the boys and girls were there.
First we sat in a circle on the carpet.
Then we got our instruments and performed the sound poem, 'Getting ready for school'.
Finally we used our instruments to make the sounds for some of the words.
We used the sleigh bells for the alarm clock ringing, we used the claves for walking, and we used the tambourine for the water coming out of the tap. We all used our voices for sounds like driving a car and drinking our tea. We even used paper to crunch for the sound of eating cornflakes. We really enjoyed it.
