We love sorting in P1!! Last week we sorted different shapes and colours of pasta and this week we have been sorting different types of vehicles. We used our sorting trays to help us. Some of us sorted for the type of vehicle and other sorted for colour. Once we sorted one way, then we tried to sort the vehicles in a different way. Lucy, Ronan, Octavia and Senan all sorted for colour first. Lorcan, Rosalyn, Mahad and Isabelle sorted for the type of vehicle.
When we went to the Outdoor Playground today, we sorted the building blocks for colour!!
I wonder what you could sort at home? You could sort the socks from the washing, by colour or by size! Have fun sorting!!
