P1 Wynne enjoy PE lesson!
We have PE every week. This week in PE, we have been learning to control a ball with our hands and our feet.
First, we warmed up by finding a space and running on the spot. When the whistle was blown, we had to freeze. When Miss Wynne clapped her hands, we moved around the hall by jumping, skipping and hopping and when she clapped her hands again, we froze.
Secondly, we each got a ball, there were some red balls, some orange, green, blue, purple and yellow. We had to steer the ball around the hall, controlling it with our hands, careful that we didn't bump in to any of our friends. To stop the ball we put our hand on top of it.
After, we had to steer the ball around the hall, controlling it with our feet. We walked like a penguin so we kicked the ball with the inside of our feet!! To stop the ball we put our foot on top of it. We had to balance on one foot! We were a bit wobbly at the start!!
Then we took turns going around the hall controlling our footballs with our hands and feet. First the children with red balls went, then the orange etc.
Finally, we did some stretches to cool down.
We love PE and are amazing listeners!!
