Today is the Feast Day of Saint Brigid. Saint Brigid is a very special saint in our school. We heard lots about the story of Saint Brigid in recent weeks and painted our favourite part of her story. Have a look at our paintings. Can you guess our favourite part of the story?
We talked about the Saint Brigid’s cross and we all found one on our jumpers and cardigans! Then we visited the PE hall and had a look at Saint Brigid and her beautiful cloak. Before we went home we also sang a song to Saint Brigid. We think Saint Brigid really did bring the Spring today with the sunshine!!
