In primary one we received some caterpillars. We watched them grow and grow, they even shed their skin because they grew so much. Eventually the caterpillars climbed to the top of the pot and spun a chrysalis. They stayed in the chrysalis for 2 weeks and then they came out as beautiful butterflies. We went outside to release the butterflies and watch them explore their new environment. We all hope that they will go and lay some eggs so the life cycle can continue.
