P1 Merron - October playtime
October has been a busy month. The Farmers market has been lots of fun and the children have loved playing in the shop with the fruit and vegetables. The Autumn spot has been great fun, exploring leaves and the animals. The sound spot has been changing each week and the children love playing with the toys there, so far we have learnt all about the s, a, t and p sounds. The story sacks have been out during play which links with our literacy tasks, we have read all about baby Roo and Elmer and Wilbur. We have been creating patterns using the pegs which links with our numeracy tasks. Halloween is almost upon us now and we have been painting Halloween pictures, playing in the Haunted House and exploring the gellibaff. Enjoy looking through all the photos and asking your child what they have been up to during playtime.
