P1 McNamee Active Listening Story
Today Mrs McGorman was reading ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ to us.
We had to listen really carefully because when she said 3 special words we had to do an action.
You can see Hugh and Erin playing with their hair when they heard the word ‘Goldilocks’. Lara and
Sophie are making the shape of a bowl with their hands because Mrs McGorman said ‘bowl’ and
Damian, Kathleen, Aphia and Ming Qi are pretending to have bear ears because they heard the word
‘ears’.
Maybe you could do this at home with your mum or dad to show what good listeners you are?
Or you could make up new actions to another story!
Remember to listen carefully, don’t be caught out!
