Outdoor Learning in P2 O'Prey
13th Apr 2018
On Friday P2 ventured outside to do some problem solving. The task was to find half of a number. First the children got into groups of three. Each child had a job: one wrote on the whiteboard, one shared the objects into two equal groups and one child counted the objects. The children used bats, racquets, balls, cones and beanbags. It was fun being outside. The trickiest thing to share were the balls. There were 22 balls and they kept rolling away! The children were still able to discover that 11 is half of 22. Well done!
