One Kind Word with P6K
P6K kicked off Anti-Bullying Week and "Odd Socks Day"with a variety of fun activities. The theme this year is - One Kind Word! We were given lists of actions and had to sort them into kind and unkind. We stuck the kind actions on our face as these were positive ones that we would like to hear and would say to some-one's face. We stuck the unkind words on our back as they were negative and we didn't want to see or hear them; they may be said behind some-one''s back. Mrs Kennedy then went a bit mad and sprayed lots of shaving foam onto cling film and told us to write unkind words on it! We were all a bit bemused. She then asked us to put all the shaving foam back into the cans. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't!! She explained this was the same as the unkind words that we use- once they have left our mouths, we can't put them back in. So, we should always think before we speak. Kind words are definitely the way to go!!!
