Today Year 6 Mc Mahon watched as John the Caretaker put up a new nesting box. The box had to be positioned facing North East. Ciaran told us that if it faced South the birds would roast! We will be observing it closely in the spring. Fingers crossed it will be home to some birds. Darragh asked why the little hole was so small. The class explained that if it was any bigger larger birds such crows and magpies or even rats could get in !
