As part of ‘Maths Week’ P6 McMahon went to assist the children in P1 Merron and P1 Mallon during their maths lessons.
The Primary 1s were learning about patterns, sorting for criteria, number formation and adding. It was wonderful to see the Primary 6 children become the teacher for the session and the Primary 1s look to the P6s for support. Some children even got to help their siblings – no doubt this is what happens at home!
A great learning experience for all involved.
