In October we have a special Maths Trail for Maths Week.
We went out and around our school to find Maths in the environment. At the front of the school we were able to safely find 2-D shapes and count cars.
Then we went into the Primary 1 playground and had to search for 3-D shapes and find the biggest number we could see. We also had to add all the numbers on the hopscotch painted on the ground.
After that we went to the school garden and using leaves and twigs, we were able to make and record patterns. Finally, we went back to class and found the numbers on the clock and recorded the time.
We all enjoyed doing the Maths Trail and it was a lovely bright day outside!
