After 115 miles and 30 hours, O’Donovan Rossa’s Great Solo Run finished at Casement Park on Sunday 17th September 2017 having left Croke Park at 7:30 am on Saturday.
Hundreds of Gaels, including St Bride’s PS P2 pupil Luke Murphy ran the final mile with his big cousin, Tyrone footballer, Padraig Hampsey.
The initiative was to highlight the message ‘Build Casement’-the jewel in the crown of the GAA in Antrim and beyond.
The Primary 2 Pupil from Miss McDermott's class received Ulster final champions signed shirt from his cousin and showed it off to his classmates and staff!
